These terms and conditions together with the privacy policy constitute the agreement between you and GlobalPaperTrade Limited (us / we) regarding the use by you of our website Globalpapertrade.com (the site), whether as a guest or a registered user, and the services. Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them.
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and to notify you by posting an updated version of these terms and conditions and privacy policy on the site, at which point they will become immediately effective. Your continued use of the site after any such changes will be taken as your consent to such changes.
Please note that by clicking on the “I Accept” button on the registration form, you are confirming your acceptance of these terms and conditions and in particular the Specific Terms Applicable to Sellers and Buyers.

ACCESSING OUR SITE
Users of the site may include sellers as well as buyers. You may browse the site without registering. However, becoming a “Registered User” gives you access to the services detailed below and once registered you will be subject to the additional terms set out in the Services section of these terms and conditions.
You agree to be courteous in your dealings with potential buyers or sellers of machinery. Abusive emails or any kind of unacceptable behaviour will result in the offending party being barred from using the site (or any affiliated sites).
Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the services we provide on our site or to restrict access to some parts of our site, or our entire site without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
SERVICES
You may register to use the services by completing the registration form on the site and indicating the service you wish to receive.
Once registered you will be able to
• Advertise your machinery for sale subject to you agreeing to pay the commission set
• Place a ‘wanted’ advertisement on the site
• Receive news updates
Although registration is free, the introduction fee detailed below will become due and payable by you in the event of any sale of machinery or equipment through an advertisement placed by you on our site. Please pay particular attention to terms set out the section below “SPECIFIC TERMS APPLICABLE TO SELLERS”.

SPECIFIC TERMS APPLICABLE TO SELLERS
You agree to only publish information on the site which to the best of your knowledge is true and accurate and not in any way misleading. We will not be responsible or liable to any third party for the content or accuracy of any materials posted by you or any other user of our site.
All negotiations in respect of the sale of your machinery and/or equipment will be conducted through us, and shall be subject any additional terms and conditions agreed between you and the buyer.
The price payable by you for placing an advertisement on the site is an amount equal to 3% (three percent) of the actual price paid (excluding any VAT or other applicable sales tax) for each item of machinery or equipment sold (whether in whole or in part) via the site (the fee).
No fee will become due or payable where the advertisement does not lead to the sale of such advertised machinery or equipment.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing between you and us, the fee is payable in cleared funds to the bank account set out in our invoice on or before 30 (thirty) days from the later of (i) the date for payment as set out in the invoice; or (ii) receipt by you of any monies due from the buyer in respect of the sale of the machinery without deduction or set off. If payment is made in installments, the fee will become due from the date of the first installment received by you.
TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE IN RESPECT OF PAYMENT OF THE FEE AND INTEREST WILL ACCRUE AT A RATE OF3% (THREE PERCENT) PER ANNUM ABOVE THE BANK OF ENGLAND BASE RATE FROM TIME TO TIME AND COMPOUNDED AT MONTHLY INTERVALS. ANY LATE PAYMENT OF ANY MONIES DUE TO US WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED AGAINST YOU.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO LIST AND OR DEACTIVATE ADVERTISEMENTS OR EDIT CONTENT WHICH IT DEEMS IS IN VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT OUR SOLE DISCRETION.
SPECIFIC TERMS APPLICABLE TO BUYERS
All material published on the site is published in good faith. We do not inspect any of the machinery or equipment appearing on the site and make no warranty or representation with regard to, or accept responsibility for, the accuracy of any machinery or equipment details provided on the site or of the sellers’ right to sell the machinery or equipment being advertised. As a buyer, you are solely responsible for carrying out all due diligence necessary with regard to the machinery and equipment and the seller’s title prior to entering into any agreement for the purchase of such machinery or equipment.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
By uploading your company logo and picture of your machinery or equipment you hereby grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to use the logo and picture solely for the purposes of advertising your company and the machinery and equipment through the site, press releases and mailouts.
You confirm that you have the right to grant the licence above and that no other rights, consents, permissions or licences are required from any third party in respect of our use of the logo or picture as herein permitted and you hereby indemnify us to the fullest extent permitted by law against any third party claims arising from any breach or alleged breach of this clause by you.
Other than as set out herein, we are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal reference and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material posted on our site. You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.
RELIANCE ON INFORMATION POSTED

We process information about you in accordance with our privacy policy . By using our site, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.
UPLOADING MATERIAL TO OUR SITE
Any material you upload to our site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we have the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose to third parties any such material for any purpose. We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any material posted or uploaded by you to our site constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.

You warrant that all uploaded photographs are current and accurate representations of the available machinery for sale and that the copyright in the photographs are owned or controlled by you.
If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.
You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our site. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our site through your internet connection are aware of these terms, and that they comply with them.
You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful.
